At the center of Belfast is the triumphant Victorian pile of the City Hall, both the focal point of the city and its best orientation point. Around the City Hall is Donegall Square, the very heart of the city, and one of the few green spaces.
Samson & Goliath cranes
Samson and Goliath are twin shipbuilding gantry cranes situated at Queen's Island in the shipyard of Harland & Wolff, builders of the RMS Titanic. The yellow cranes dominate the Belfast skyline and are landmark structures of the city.
Albert Memorial Clock Tower
Built in 1865 in Gothic style to commemorate Queen Victoria?s consort, Prince Albert. Created on land reclaimed from the River Lagan, it features a statue of Prince Albert as well as ornately carved crowned lions and floral decorations.
